Schema Therapy supervisor · Hong Kong & Online Schema Therapy supervision.
Bring your cases, and yourself.

“My chair work stalls at exactly the moment it should begin.”

One-to-one supervision, online, for therapists in Hong Kong, across Asia and further afield who are working towards ISST certification at Standard or Advanced level. We look at your cases, your case conceptualisations and your recordings, and at what the work stirs up in you.

Two places open now Is this for you?
  • You've completed Part 2 of your Schema Therapy training
  • You're working towards ISST Standard or Advanced
  • You want your recordings looked at before a rater sees them
  • Your imagery or chair work keeps stalling
  • You'd like to look at your own modes, not only your clients'
  • You want a supervisor in an Asian time zone
ISST certification

Supervision that counts towards your hours.

Supervision with me counts towards your ISST certification once you've completed Part 2 of your training. ISST asks for at least 20 hours of supervision for Standard and 40 for Advanced, spread over at least a year, plus recorded sessions that your supervisor reviews and an independent rater scores.

I'm an Accredited Advanced Schema Therapist and an ISST supervisor in training, and I'm taking on supervisees now to complete my own certification. That means I can take on two therapists working towards theirs, and my supervision of you is itself supervised by a certified supervisor-trainer. Both places are open now.

What ISST asks for, in detail →
The part the requirements leave out

Which of your own modes shows up when the work gets hard?

A strong Compliant Surrender makes it hard to hold a limit. A Detached Protector runs calm, safe sessions where the chair work never quite starts. We look at this together. It isn't therapy, but it is personal, and it's usually what frees up the experiential work.

How we work

Cases. Recordings. And you.

01

Your cases

Bring the clients you're working with. We build or sharpen the case conceptualisation, look at the modes in the room, and plan the next steps in imagery and chair work.

02

Your recordings

We watch your recordings together in the session, stop where it matters, and look at what happened and what you could try, with the ISST rating scale in mind. It's practice for the rating, and good learning in itself.

03

Your modes

Which of your schemas a client triggers, which mode takes over when you get stuck, and what your Healthy Adult needs to stay in the room. Transference and projection belong here too.
